Palazzo San Lorenzo with an ancient Seventeenth century building, immersed in the historic centre of Colle Val d'Elsa. In its noble past as a renowned hospital of the town, was endowed with a small and cozy chapel reachable from the rear side of the building. And on the same site as this old church the Restaurant Sopra Le Mura now stands, where is possible to find a magic and incredible atmosphere. Through careful restoration, and meticulous attention to furnishings and paneling, the restaurant characterizes itself for the precious and charming location, where, according to the style of the Palace, ancient and modern mix in perfect harmony.
A place with an ancient charm, evocative, where you can enjoy a relaxing, cozy and familiar atmosphere where our staff will welcome and help you with politeness, professionalism and experience. The dishes of Restaurant Sopra Le Mura are inspired by flavours and natural products of the Tuscan tradition, with great attention for the use of seasonal products of high level. Particular attention is given to typical Tuscan dishes, like the "Ribollita", "pappa al pomodoro", "bistecca alla fiorentina", dishes cleverly improved by our great chef, always respecting quality and taste of food.
Our aim is to offer at guests a wide selection of wines, preferring the ones produced in the surrounding area, helping you in the choice of the right wine for each dish.
